This page is dedicated to my great stallion, a 2001 Trek XO1, which I bought from Ebay in May 2003. I had a good experience with this purchase. I am 5'7" & 160 lbs. My off-road trail near home is the service trail for the commuter train. The terrain varies from grassland, loose gravel, hardpack, mud, and pockets of water after a good rain.
My commuter route to work is either 12km or 20km round trip, depending on how I feel when I leave the house. The longer route offers up a 1.5km grass trail that will liven up the ride a bit. On the soggy days, the trail is pretty water logged & muddy in certain sections. The shorter route is strictly road & sidewalks.
